  • At age 14, the youngest person to swim Grand Lake, New Brunswick's largest inland body of water.

  • She battled choppy waves and 60 degree F water temperature to complete the swim in 4 hours and 29 minutes

  • Rose Marie was paced by 7 swimmers, each taking turns swimming with her

  • She sprinted the final 75 yards and was welcomed by her coach, Buzz Troy and a large enthusiastic crowd of onlookers.

  • This was the first officially recorded swim of Grand Lake
